According to The Sunday Times, Russian businessman Alisher Usmanov got into the Top-5 of the richest UK residents. His wealth was estimated at £11.791 billion. The newspaper notes that it grew by £4.211 billion in the last year.
The first place in the ranking was taken by the brothers Sri and Gopi Induya. Their fortune was estimated at £16.2 billion. The second place was taken by the Ukrainian oligarch Leonid Blavatnik (£15.98 billion).
Another Russian, the owner of the Chelsea soccer club Roman Abramovich holds the 13th row: his fortune was estimated at £8.053 billion. 156th place in the ranking is held by the wife of the former mayor of Moscow Elena Baturina, whose fortune was estimated at £822 million.
In total there were 500 people in the rating, with the combined wealth of £580.3 billion.
