Russian TV channel showed a story how Putin’s assistant Surkov controls self-proclaimed republics in Donbass

Popular Russian TV channel RBC on the 3rd anniversary of the illegal “referendum” of the separatists in the Donbass has released a story how the presidential assistant Vladislav Surkov manages the processes in the unrecognized republics.

“Three people who stood at the origins of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) told Reuters journalists the name of the main creator of the political system of the Donbass ‘republics’. Yes, it’s Vladislav Surkov, who still manages the processes from Moscow,” the story says.

Journalists also interviewed the former head of the of the “People’s Council of the DPR” Alexei Alexandrov, who confirmed this information.

“I talked with Vladislav Yurievich Surkov. He is in charge of this process. I also know Zakharchenko (the head of the DPR – RRT) personally. I’m not sure that he makes any decisions by himself,” said Alexandrov.

“Another one, Pusilin, is an outspoken crook, and a totally ‘accidental’ person in this system. But he matched some criteria, and that brought him in,” also stressed one of the founders of the DPR.
