The United States of America will not abolish sanctions against Russia until the Ukrainian and Syrian problems are resolved. The corresponding message was posted on Twitter account of U.S. President Donald Trump.
“Sanctions were not discussed at my meeting with President Putin. Nothing will be done until the Ukrainian & Syrian problems are solved!” Trump wrote.

Earlier, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson during his visit to Ukraine confirmed that the sanctions against the Russian Federation will be preserved until the Minsk Protocol is fully implemented.
“Sanctions against Russia will remain in force until Russia fulfills all the conditions,” Tillerson said.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko specified that the United States will keep sanctions against Russia until Ukraine becomes completely de-occupied.
“Until the Ukrainian territory is liberated, there will be no talk of lifting the sanctions,” he said, and stressed that sanctions against Russia are primarily related to ensuring peace in Ukraine.
