Moldovan president Dodon: Moldova will not join NATO

Moldovan President Igor Dodon said that his country will remain neutral, and will not become a member of NATO, or any other military alliance.

He said this at a briefing, commenting on his visit to the military training ground of the National Army of Moldova in Bulboaca.

“Moldova should not take part in hostilities neither in the west, nor in the east. We will not take part in NATO, or other military alliance. We are a neutral country. Also, Moldova will not participate in any military actions or regional conflicts,” said Igor Dodon.

Earlier, Dodon said that Moldova “will never be anti-Russian.”
