North Korea opens its first tourist office in Russia


Company NKorean is approved by the government of North Korea, and guarantees security for tourists. It will work with the support of the North Korean embassy in Russia.

“I think that the prospects for development are good. We, in turn, will support this company with information,” said the president of the Union of Travel Agencies Sergei Golov at a press conference on the release of NKorean to the Russian market.

“The DPRK is one of the safest countries in the world, it fully guarantees the safety of tourists who obey the law and order of the country,” said Counselor of the Embassy Kim Seng Hong.

According to him, the country’s nuclear forces fully guarantee security and peace on the Korean peninsula.

In addition, the diplomat said that the DPRK plans to actively develop tourism ties with Russia. For example, the procedure for issuing visas will be simplified, and waiting times will be reduced from 2-3 weeks to 3-5 days.

Previously, the media reported that North Korea is promoting itself as a direction for surfing.
