North Korea launched ballistic missile towards Japan

It was noted that a missile of an unidentified type flew over the territory of Japan. This was confirmed by the South Korean Defense Ministry.

In turn, the Reuters agency referring to the Japanese TV channel NHK claims that the official Tokyo warned residents of northern areas of Japan about the imminent danger, and ordered citizens to take precautionary measures in connection with the launch.

On Saturday, August 26th, several short-range missiles flew from the coast of North Korea in the direction of the Sea of ​​Japan. One of them exploded almost immediately after the launch, two more flew about 250 kilometers. Later, the Pacific Command of the U.S. Army clarified that these launches did not carry a threat to the territory of America or Guam.

Earlier, CNN, referring to the National Intelligence Service of South Korea, reported on the preparation of another nuclear test in North Korea. Presumably, Pyongyang plans to conduct an underground nuclear explosion.
