Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova lied on TV about Bin Laden visiting White House

During the TV show 60 Minutes on Russian TV channel Russia 1, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova referred to the fake photo ‘evidence’ of Osama Bin Laden being received in the White House.

Zakharova said that we need to recall “those fantastic, enchanting photographs, like when they received Bin Laden in the White House. This is the same classical lobbying at its finest.”

After that, the host of 60 Minutes, Olga Skabaeva, compared Bin Laden with the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin, who was also received in the White House.

According to Zakharova, by receiving Bin Laden, the White House allegedly tried to “propagate” him around the world as a “new democratic force” in Afghanistan.

However, neither the reception of Bin Laden, nor the photographs with him in the White House have ever existed: there was only a fake published on Twitter during the U.S. presidential campaign, dedicated to discredit Hillary Clinton as a candidate.

On the original photo Clinton meets with an Indian musician Shubhashish Mukherjee. The picture was taken in 2004. Also, the picture was not taken at the White House, but at the Fairmont Hotel, where Clinton delivered a welcoming speech as a U.S. senator. The original picture is available on the website of the singer.
