Russian diplomat found dead in Kazakhstan


Head of the interim group of Russian Consulate General in Kazakhstan, Roman Skrylnikov was found dead in Ust-Kamenogorsk.

According to available information, the body of the diplomat was found by his driver in a rented apartment. Police did not find any traces of violent death. The most likely cause of Skrylnikov’s death is a heart attack.

Police works out all possible versions of the incident.

The Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Ust-Kamenogorsk declined to comment.

The body of the deceased will be transported to Russia.
